1. Hearty Bean & Rice Bowl

Pantry items:

Canned beans (black, pinto, or kidney)

Rice

Canned corn (optional)

Salsa or canned tomatoes

Spices (salt, pepper, chili powder)

Instructions:

Cook rice according to package.Heat beans (drained) with corn and salsa. Season with spices. Serve over rice.

Optional add-ins: cheese, fresh veggies, hot sauce

2. Tuna Pasta Salad

Pantry items:

Pasta

Canned tuna

Mayonnaise or salad dressing

Canned peas or mixed vegetables

Salt & pepper

Instructions:

Cook and cool pasta. Mix with drained tuna and veggies. Stir in mayo or dressing. Season to taste.

👉 Tip: great cold meal, no reheating needed

3. Vegetable Soup (Flexible “Use What You Have”)

Pantry items:

Canned vegetables (any kind)

Canned tomatoes

Broth or bouillon cubes

Pasta or rice (optional)

Seasonings

Instructions:

Bring broth to a boil. Add tomatoes and vegetables. Add pasta or rice if desired. Simmer 10–15 minutes and season.

4. Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal

Pantry items:

Oats

Peanut butter

Banana (fresh or shelf-stable if available)

Honey or sugar (optional)

Instructions:

Cook oats with water or milk. Stir in peanut butter. Slice banana on top. Add sweetener if desired.

👉 Great for breakfast or a filling snack

5. Simple Chili

Pantry items:

Canned beans

Canned tomatoes

Tomato sauce (optional)

Onion (if available)

Chili powder / spices

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a pot. Simmer for 15–20 minutes. Stir occasionally and adjust seasoning.
